The aim with the psychological paintings is to create work which visualises the minds thoughts and emotions. I like this as a concept as it challenges me to take the abstract thoughts and turn them into something people can see or understand. I find it useful to visualise the mental processes as it gives me another perspective. I hope that this approach to visualising the mind, also helps others.

My recent aim has to been to combine the landscape with abstract. This is represented in some of the artworks below. I like the idea of using expressionism to capture the feeling of place and not just the visual image. I have a few other projects below which focus on playing with colour, responding to music and exploring natural forms.
